M.Sc. Umweltwissenschaften / Environmental Sciences

Starting in the winter semester 2012, the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources is offering the new, bilingual M.Sc. program "Umweltwissenschaften/Environmental Sciences". Classes and exams are conducted in English or in German.

The new M.Sc. program ”Umweltwissenschaften/Environmental Sciences“ is offered for students with above average B.Sc. or equivalent primary degrees in Environmental Sciences, Geography, Biology, Ecology, Forest or Agricultural Sciences, Land Use Planning, Nature Conservation or Natural Resource Management. The program can be started  in winter.

Teaching modules are divided into blocks with a duration of three weeks each. Modules comprise didactically modern teaching methods such as lectures, group work, tutorials, independent learning or excursions. In the first and second semester, students have to take core modules and also choose between five different elective tracks. Depending on the individual choice of modules, students can study the new M.Sc. programs completely in German or in English.
